How blogging works with Showit and WordPress

Ready to learn how to set up your Showit blog?

Showit uses WordPress to host the blog. You design how you want the blog to look on Showit and you write and post your blogs on WordPress and they automatically appear on your website in the blog section.

If you use a FitWebsites Website template you will have your blog already correctly set up in Showit. The pages you have are the ‘blog’ homepage to showcase your blog, the blog ‘single page’ which will be the design of the blog post and the 404 page.

On Showit you can set placeholders for where you want certain elements to appear, like the post title and date/time of publication – then when it’s published on your site automatically; everything just updates without any additional work from you!

Now that you have the design of your blog set up, you need to write some blogs in WordPress. To write and publish a blog post, log in to WordPress (yoururl.com/wp-admin) with your Showit username and password.
